Description:  Sarasota County’s workforce is more than 2,200 employees who work directly within the Board of County Commissioner departments.  Human Resources partners with the departments to source and hire employees for open positions. Internal promotions is the percent of vacancies that are filled from existing employees.

Analysis: Hires for the month of January total 38.  Year-to-date hires are lower with 137 compared to last year at this time at 182.
