Description:  Issuing new library cards is a function performed at each of the Sarasota County Library branches.  In most cases, growth in new library cards demonstrates new people coming to our community as well as youngsters who are learning to use libraries as learning centers.

Analysis:

There is a 3.2% increase in the number of new library cards issued through January 2018 as compared to last year.
